Mr. Wahrlich was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended De La Salle High School in Concord, California. After high school, Mr. Wahrlich earned bachelors degrees in Psychology and Fine Arts from Oregon State University. While at Oregon State, Mr. Wahrlich competed on the varsity wrestling team and earned Pac-Ten All-Academic honors - an award recognizing academic and athletic excellence. During college, Mr. Wahrlich worked as an assistant diesel mechanic and yard hand for a crane and rigging company.

Mr. Wahrlich earned his law degree from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. During law school, he clerked for a civil litigation law firm in Portland, Oregon and was the Editor in Chief of the Willamette Sports Law Journal, a member of moot court, and the president of the running club.

Following law school and prior to joining Hildebrand, McLeod & Nelson, LLP, Mr. Wahrlich worked for a plaintiff oriented civil litigation firm in Seattle, Washington where he litigated cases throughout the Northwest and California. Mr. Wahrlich is a member of the California, Oregon, and Washington Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in California, Oregon, and Washington.

Mr. Wahrlich is also a member of ARLA, the Academy of Rail Labor Attorneys. ARLA is a professional association of attorneys representing injured railroad workers or their families. ARLA represents injured workers in their efforts to be compensated fairly for their injuries and promote rail safety and safe working conditions for all railroad employees. ARLA upholds the right to a jury trial for the injured worker and provides continuing legal education through seminars and other educational programs. ARLA also actively participates in protecting the rights of injured railroad workers and their families by participating in critcal cases throughout the Courts of Appeal and Unites States Supreme Court.

In his free time, Mr. Wahrlich enjoys surfing, running, mountain climbing, hunting, international travel, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
