Michael Vener is an attorney at the Los Angeles office of Hildebrand, McLeod & Nelson, LLP. His practice is devoted to obtaining justice and the maximum possible recovery for injured men and women. He is dedicated to ensuring that his clients’ rights and interests are fully protected. Before joining Hildebrand, McLeod & Nelson, Mr. Vener was an associate at a general practice law firm in Los Angeles, with a heavy emphasis in personal injury. In addition to handling Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA) cases, he has successfully represented individuals in a wide variety of matters including automotive collisions, commercial premises liability, business disputes, and criminal misdemeanors.

Mr. Vener received his law degree from Southwestern Law School in 2009. While at Southwestern, he was a teacher’s assistant in Civil Procedure and an editor for the Southwestern Journal of International Law, where he published a definitive article on internet gaming law.  Additionally, while in law school, he completed an externship with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

Prior to attending Southwestern, Mr. Vener completed his undergraduate course work at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Law & Society with high honors.

Mr. Vener is a member of the California State Bar, and is licensed to practice law in all Courts of the State of California, as well as the United States District Court, Central District of California. He is also a member of the Los Angeles County and San Fernando Valley Bar Associations.

Mr. Vener is is also a member of ARLA, the Academy of Rail Labor Attorneys. ARLA is a professional association of attorneys representing injured railroad workers or their families. ARLA represents injured workers in their efforts to be compensated fairly for their injuries and promote rail safety and safe working conditions for all railroad employees. ARLA upholds the right to a jury trial for the injured worker and provides continuing legal education through seminars and other educational programs. ARLA also actively participates in protecting the rights of injured railroad workers and their families by participating in critcal cases throughout the Courts of Appeal and Unites States Supreme Court.

When not in the office, Mr. Vener enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, reading, and listening to music.
